If you work in any web related field, then you must have heard it before. The rants and screams of angry users and developers because IE won't display their web application or website correctly. Chances are, you've probably experienced this before as well.
We all wish that Internet Explorer would just die (and take tables along with it). Think of how many projects you've worked on that resulted in you having to redo it or change major parts because IE would simply not support it.
We understand. We've all been though it. We share your pain.
We hate IE too
To express my hate for IE, I've taken the time one late night to create this video for you. The scene is taken from the movie Downfall.

Internet Explorer Theories
Perhaps you've wonder who would create such a horrible browser like IE. There are many theories on this, each very plausible. Let me share my theory.
The Tale of Internet Explorer
One day while Bill Gates sat at home eating small children (it wasn't until later that he became cool and invented the Xbox), he conjured up the idea that people needed something to navigate the internet with. He decided to call it a "browser". But of course Bill wouldn't create anything without thinking of profit. He designed this browser which he called "Internet Explorer" (so that even the dumbest of people could know what it is used for) to have various flaws; like an inability to block popup ads, security flaws, and instead of a decent rendering engine, he used a box held up with popsicle sticks and gum.
He knew that whenever people used it, they would be bombed with advertisements and spam. To ease their pain, he created virus protection programs which he could charge at ridiculous rates to those desperate enough. Then sometime happened. Firefox was built. It was open source, customizable, secure, and had a good rendering engine. Bill would not stand for this. He made sure that Internet Explorer was installed as the only browser on his operating systems. But despite his best efforts, Firefox refused to be killed. He was finally forced to release Internet Explorer 8, a decent version of Internet Explorer.
And that's where we are today.

We did not make this video. But that guy is our hero.

Best article ever. I've pretty much given up on IE 6, every time I look at it I get this feeling of impending doom.

Dear God, best article I've ever took the time to read.
Though reading it while in school, no one else seemed to understand (and I'm in a design class...)
Loved this<3
